Potato rosti with cottage cheese and greens
"Pancakes!" - you might say. - No, not pancakes. Version of pancakes from the potatoes with curd cheese, without eggs and flour.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    5 piece

  • Cheese curd

    250 g

  • Parsley

    1 coup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Nutmeg

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

Potatoes to grate large julienne (grated "Berner" or in food processor). Squeeze to drain excess liquid.

Add the chopped greens (optional and interchangeable),

cottage cheese or low fat cheese if cheese is high fat, then weigh it before cooking and RUB through a sieve. Add the nutmeg and salt, mix well.

Onions cut into strips, fry in vegetable oil until Golden brown and crispy, add to potatoes and stir.

Preheat the pan with vegetable oil, spreading with a spoon the potato mixture, fry the rosti, pressing with a spatula. Fry, turning occasionally, until tender.
