I want to share with you here is a beautiful appetizer of tomato and mozzarella. Saw this idea in a culinary transmission even in the winter (sorry I will not say what, because I got it just switching channels). So I had to wait until the summer, before the season of tomato (although they are still greenhouse, but still). On the table looks very nice and original. And the combination of tomato, mozzarella and Basil is just something extremely delicious (for me). And my opinion is just a classic combination.

Cooking
So let's go. Take tomatoes and with a sharp knife make slits on four sides (away from the middle) almost to the end (as pictured). We need to notched petals of tomato, kinda stepped aside, but in any case, broke away from the tomato.
Then take mozzarella cheese and cut into THIN slices. Further, the pieces of cheese are forming under our incision in the tomato and inserted on all four sides. This is our first row of petals.
Now do the same cuts (only slightly less) in the middle. Pieces of cheese make a second row of petals, but smaller.
These are the flowers we got.
Ready flowers spread on a dish lined with lettuce leaves. In the middle of each tomato make a hole and insert there the Basil.
