Johnny-cake
Johnny cake is a sweet pancakes made of corn flour. The first mention about these pancakes dates from 1739, then prepared them in South Carolina, and they were called not "johnny" and "Journey-cake" that is, "Pancakes for travel". Over time, the geographical spread of this dish has changed and the name was distorted. Pancakes turn out very tender, tasty, with a distinctive flavor of corn.

Mix corn and wheat flour, baking powder, soda and salt, sift into a deep bowl. Add the powdered sugar. To make the pancakes turned out fluffy, they are not long time to mix - it will be air bubbles, so that the sugar is dissolved quickly and completely, it is better to add the powdered sugar.
