Baguette with garlic butter
I tried to bake once and was very surprised with the result, now I bake constantly, especially for first courses... how simple, how delicious! Crispy bread, creamy flavor of garlic... mmm... impossible to put down (took the recipe from the magazine "COOK - delicious home cooking" on the website such is not found).

Ingredients

  • Butter

    80 g

  • Olive oil

    1 tsp

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Yeast

    1.5 tsp

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Milk

    130 ml

  • Water

    130 ml

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Greens

  • Black pepper

For the dough mix all the ingredients and knead. Cover with towel and put in a warm place for an hour (the dough should double in size).

For the filling, mix herbs with oil, add the chopped garlic and pepper, stir to combine.

Coming up the dough again, knead on floured table. Form a flat cake and roll it into a roll.

Baguette lay on covered with baking paper (parchment) baking sheet, cover with a tea towel and leave for 30 min.

Then make several baguette cuts across or along one (I did, as you can see, the one along), brush with beaten egg and bake for 10 minutes in a preheated 180 degree oven.

After 10 minutes, remove the baguette from the oven and make crosswise slits across the length of the baguette to the middle.

The cuts put the garlic oil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until Golden brown.
