Porridge of lentils with a twist
My family loves lentils. And I love to cook quick, tasty and healthy. I suggest you to try the lentils in an unusual role of sweet porridge.

Ingredients

  • Lentils

    150 g

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Raisins

    50 g

  • Cinnamon

    0.25 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    2 tsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Water

    350 ml

For the preparation of delicious porridge we need red lentils from "Mistral".

Wash the lentils, fill with water, put on fire. While the future porridge boiling on a fine grater grate the carrots and passeruem in vegetable oil. I honestly would prefer to grate carrot on larger grater, but my eldest child does not eat visible vegetables ( (

In a pot of boiling lentils, add the carrots and raisins. Cook on low heat until the lentils are tender - about 10-15 minutes.

At the end of cooking add salt, sugar, cinnamon. If porridge will seem dry, add a little vegetable oil. Our very hearty and delicious Breakfast is ready! Bon appetit!
