Herring in a spicy marinade
For work I travel to different cities on business trips. Here's a recipe I brought back from the city of Krasnodar.

Ingredients

  • Herring

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Cherry

    300 g

A herring to clean, gut, separate from the bones and cut into pieces. Put them into a glass dish.

Onions cut into half rings and add to the herring.

Cherry wash, remove seeds and using a blender grind until smooth (will cherry puree).

Herring with onions pour the cherry puree, mix and refrigerate for a day.

A day to get the herrings from the marinade, scraping up every bite. Garnish with onions, boiled potatoes and can be treated. Bon appetit!
