Bush salad with beef and carrots
Option Christmas snacks. All can be prepared in advance, will only put the salad in the pastry for 30 minutes before serving.

Ingredients

  • Beef

    200 g

  • Carrots

    2 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Pickled cucumber

    3 piece

  • Thyme

    1 tsp

  • Mayonnaise

    2 Tbsp

  • Puff pastry

    300 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Olive oil

1. Beef and carrots cut into thin strips, onion, and pickles in small cubes. Finely chop the garlic.

2. Saute the onion in olive oil until transparent. Add carrots, cook stirring on medium heat for 7 minutes, add the thyme leaves, add a half-Cup of water. To remove the heat to low and simmer until soft carrots 15 minutes.

3. Add the beef, stir, increase heat and cook 7 minutes. Add sour cream and garlic, remove the heat to low and simmer for another 7 minutes.

4. Add chopped cucumbers, stir and remove from heat. Add salt and pepper to taste.

5. Preheat the oven to 200C. Puff pastry roll out 3 mm thick. Cut out circles of dough using a form with a diameter of 3 see the Half circles to put on a baking sheet.

6. From the second half of the circles cut out headbands with shape with a diameter of 2.5 cm (the Remaining small circles can be baked and spread on top of a teaspoon of the sauce pestle. Submit as individual canapés.)

7. Lubricate the circles of dough with beaten egg, put on top the rims, just squeeze and brush with the beaten egg. Bake for 15 minutes to "cups" has risen and become Golden brown.
