It's our ingredients.
On low heat melt the butter. (Experimentally it was found that for 100 grams of butter - a bit too much. Next time I will put 50 grams.) Pour the sugar, stir until dissolved, increase the fire and proverjaem sugar. The author recommends doing it for 4-5 minutes.
I think 3 minutes is enough. Sugar cook a little longer to a state of caramel, then begins to gather in the cereal, to separate from the oil
While stirring, add to the mix some orange juice. From the hot oil, the juice begins to rapidly boil, it is to be expected, it is easy to get burned. Add the zest, proverjaem sauce on low heat. In the original, at this point, the sauce thickens, after about 4-5 minutes. It's not thickened nor after 5 minutes nor after 10:-). Enough 3 minutes of the boil
Add the brandy - he is also behaving violently : -). counted to 30 seconds, remove sauce from heat, let cool. Thickens it just a couple of hours later, after being in the fridge
