Sauce with vegetables
Wonderful sauce. Color not as bright, but in taste not inferior to the regular ketchup. And, of course, home-made, so you can adjust flavors to your liking. The use of sauce, the same as regular ketchup : do you want to - Burger with sausage, or pasta, French fries, and why not to mouth-watering steak or kebabs.

Ingredients

  • Eggplant

  • Pepper

    1 piece

  • Apple

    1 piece

  • Onion

    0.5 piece

  • Garlic

    4 tooth

  • Greens

    1 coup

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Lime

    2 Tbsp

  • Soy sauce

    3 Tbsp

  • Chili

    0.5 piece

  • Sugar

    0.5 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Spices

Here are our products. I have green peppers and apples small, so for 2 pieces.

All the vegetables and the Apple cut into small cubes (the eggplant to remove the peel). Greens chopped. Lime (or lemon) juice.

In a saucepan heat the oil, add all vegetables, cover, simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes.

Add soy sauce "Kikkoman", the lime or lemon juice, sugar, salt, a slice of hot pepper. Don't neglect spices : 2 pinches of mixed spices and cumin, pinch ground cloves. Mix well.

Simmer another 7 minutes. Turn off the heat, leave to simmer for 10 minutes. Then put the vegetables with the sauce in a blender, carefully punching. Sauce "A La ketchup" is ready. Output - 0.5 liters. Store sauce in the refrigerator, not more than 6 days.
