I just gave the name. It is really a real yogurt "ACTIVIA", just cooked at home. This recipe is especially useful for young mothers who are not able to buy baby food on a dairy kitchen. This is the yogurt I give my toddler out of kefir do tvarozek.

To prepare the yogurt, we need: milk, yogurt "ACTIVIA" with no additives, a thermos and a regular thermometer. I hasten to mention, the utensils should be very clean. Actually, ideally, it should be parboiled, but I don't, just carefully my.
Milk it is necessary to use a low-fat. Home in this case is not the best option. From my experience I know that the real kefir from homemade whole milk is difficult to obtain, because it turns out the lumps. This cheese will go. The outcome of the curd will be high. But kefir is better to take milk is not more than 3.5% fat, preferably 1-2,5%. And milk it is necessary to boil (do not boil the milk, only UHT, i.e., Tetra Paks, or in a rigid packaging). So the yogurt was high quality, it is necessary to adhere strictly to the temperature range. Therefore, heat milk need to 38-40 degrees. To determine the temperature, I use a regular thermometer. In hot milk add 1-2 tbsp. spoons of yogurt "ACTIVIA", stir well and pour into a thermos. Leave it for 5-8 hours and the kefir is ready.
From a pint of milk it turns a Cup of yogurt and piece of cheese for a small child. In General, according to this principle, it is possible to dissolve any lacto - and bifidobacteria. We have a dairy kitchen far away, but in the store I don't even buy for a child dairy products, so for us it is a very good yield. Always fresh buttermilk and tvarozek.:-)
