Girls, I have a gift for 8 March. A few years ago, these Apple rose literally blew up the Internet. Preparing it is easy, it turns out beautiful! The site has several similar recipes, but this is not. Read and find out.

A range of ingredients for the pie (cake) is very simple.

Put the dough on the table and quickly gather it into a ball, do not try to knead. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for the delay at least half an hour.

So far everything was most common and was not worth the fuss. Go to new - roses are red. So, take the apples. Here we are waiting for insidious: during baking, the edge of the petal is usually undercooked, and apples will also be the usual color of baked apples, no matter how beautiful we didn't take it. And I wanted pink! For this we will need quite a bit of fruit (perfect frozen, unfreeze them is not necessary.) Take any apples and cut them into 2 equal halves. Now each half cut in thin slices, like an onion (i.e. not cut along the radius, but it is like an onion half-rings). Don't forget to cut the core with seeds. Cut into thin, 1-2 mm. If the Apple slice will be thicker (3mm), the roses are bigger in size (in diameter), but collapse it will be less convenient. I liked to work with the slimmer, faster, and easier, and look very impressive and presentable. Take berries, cranberries, blackberries or any other berries quite a bit - is important to us juice. Cranberries gives a more delicate hue, and color I liked more.

You can cook several bowls of water with different berries, then the Apple slices are different colors. Anyone have a microwave - just bring the pot to a boil and simmer for literally 1 minute, it is necessary that the apples have become elastic. After boiling the apples are very saturated with moisture, and may need more time for baking in the oven. Here out of curiosity I picked blackberries and blueberries! Overdone, rose turned dark red, almost Burgundy color, but shade is easily adjustable kind of berries and their quantity. Roses in the photo turned out darker than they really are. Want to warn you that when you get the apples from the microwave, they are not a rich color, which become in a few minutes - compare this photo and the following made literally within 2-3 minutes. Don't know how to explain this phenomenon.

The thinner will be the layer of dough and the thickness of the Apple slices, the faster the roses will be ready.

Lubricates the strip in a thin layer of hot apricot jam (it easier to brush). You can take any jam or jam, it is important that the layer was thin. You can do without this sweet layer, but it is possible if your apples are not very sweet (I add nothing, I'm fine).

Note that the Apple slices have just been to the compote and, therefore, saturated with moisture, so the puff pastry is quite wet at first and needs time so it is cooked. More than a thin layer of rolled out dough, so the process will be faster.

When our roses will be ready, remove the pan from the oven, carefully take out our roses (very handy with a spoon) and allow to cool on a wire rack (enough 5 minutes). The total baking time of 35-45 minutes, watch your oven. Here we are at the fork - you can stop at this step, nicely put puff on a dish, generously sprinkle with powdered sugar and everyone will be happy. Bon appetit!

Need any cream to plant roses if you have a favorite custard, then great! If there are no anything, that will suit even the jam. I make the cream very quickly beat with a mixer at high speed, 150 ml milk, 200 ml cream (I took our 38%, but even 10% will do) plus instant pudding (it's our secret ingredient for cooking cream). The cream thickens eyes, and in 2 minutes we have a beautiful cream.

I initially wanted to do cream with taste of condensed milk, and it is this pudding in the photo, made it, but at the last moment changed his mind and made vanilla.
