Vietnamese yogurt
Vietnamese yogurt is called "sua chua", which literally translates as "sour milk." But the taste of this yogurt is not sour, but rather sweet and sour, because when it comes to making use of condensed milk with sugar, which, oddly enough, is a traditional product of Vietnamese cuisine. If you prepare yogurt at home, be sure to try this option. From the given quantity of products is obtained more than 2, 5 liters of yogurt.

  • Condensed milk

    2 can

  • Water

    7.75 cup

  • Yogurt

    480 ml

  • Milk

    3.5 cup

In a large saucepan heat 3 1/2 cups of water almost to a boil. Dissolve in hot water sweetened condensed milk, stirring with a wooden spoon. Let cool to 50 degrees.

Then add 4 1/4 cups water, milk and yogurt (starter). Mix. If you make yogurt for the first time as a starter, you can use your homemade yogurt or store-bought natural, no additives. Further preferably, the use of the Vietnamese yogurt.

Cook the yogurt in any way familiar to you. I'm doing the yogurt maker. Preparation may take from 7 to 15 hours.

Ready yogurt store in the fridge for at least 4 hours. This yogurt can be stored a week in the refrigerator or 6 months in the freezer.
