Honey cake
I think each of us has ever tried store-bought honey cake. And the only thing about this cake is airy cakes. Isn't that right? :-) Now, I want to offer you the recipe for these soft cakes and unusual cream to them, or rather, a little unusual addition to the standard cream.

For me, this cake is something like a magic wand. It is done very quickly (!), with conventional products, and it turns out very tasty. So, let's start. To begin to put the water for the water bath. To save time, I poured hot water (from the tap). While water boils, whisk the eggs with the Cup sugar. Add the honey (if thick, do not worry, it will disperse) and put in a water bath.

Until the mass heats up, I measure out 2 cups of flour, pour them together to make it easier then add to the dough (there will have to act quickly). By the way, the secret to fluffy cakes is in a small amount of flour.

As soon as the mass becomes hot, disperse the honey and the sugar, add a teaspoon of baking soda. The mixture should turn white and increase in volume.

Remove Cup from heat and add flour. All mix well. The batter should be viscous. The dough quickly gets cold (if it's cold, he'll be harder to work), it should be put back in a water bath.

On a sheet of parchment (not (!!!) grease), put a tablespoon of the dough from the center to the edge of the lateral movements, such as wiping, shaped into a circle (if you want cake square - accordingly make the shape of a square or rectangle). If the arm is still not Packed, and I'm afraid to make the cakes are uneven, you can cut around the circle with a pencil and the stencil to "smear" the dough. Another point, the parchment can be prepared in advance, so you do not waste time on it. I always get only 5 cakes with a diameter of 27-28 cm Bake at 220 degrees, literally 3-4 minutes. They are baked very quickly, it is better not to depart:-)

Now proceed to the cream. All must sign a standard set of: sour cream and prunes. Has anyone ever tried instead of the prunes add dates? I did not expect such a result... It's delicious! From dates remove seeds, if any, and chop quite finely.

Well, there is nothing new. Sour cream mix with sugar (sugar is a lot better not to give because the dates give the sweetness) and add the dates. The cream is ready.

Here's a cake obtained in the section. Delicious, delicate, airy... Only this time I had too much sugar, in my opinion, was a very sweet, although her husband was at the time. That is why I left out the part of the amount of sugar to cream. It should be individualized. I didn't do it, but definitely try next time, you can add a little lemon peel. Bon appetit!
