Trinket of Cerdanya/Trinxat de la Cerdanya
Cerdanya - mountain area in the North of Catalonia with a harsh climate, snow and frosty winter. Natural conditions have formed the traditions of the inhabitants of this region, their food. Vintage dish not a great variety, they are easy to prepare, are high in calories. Trinket is the very popular dish of the region. It was made so back in the 15th century. At the end of February in the Cerdanya, a festival dedicated to this dish, the people present at the competition trincat prepared with knowledge, family recipes. And though I do not have such a rich experience, I think that my trinket would take the competition a worthy place. What do you think?
