Vatersay in a slow cooker
The origin of this recipe, I do not know, but wanted to try to cook this dish. Thanks to competition from "Vitek" - for the slow cooker it turned out to be very useful.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast

    400 g

  • Potatoes

    200 g

  • Carrots

    200 g

  • Onion

    200 g

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Cream

    200 ml

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Water

    700 ml

  • Bay leaf

    2 piece

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Nutmeg

Cooking

Onions cut into thin half-rings.

Carrots and potatoes cut into strips or (as I did - grate with a nozzle for French fries).

MV select mode "Roasting" and melt the butter.

Omit all the vegetables and fry, stirring occasionally, until a nice Golden brown and soft (about 10-12 min)

MV is disabled. Take out the roasted vegetables.

In the MV Cup pour water, drop of breast. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and Bay leaf. Select the mode "Soup".

Whisk the eggs with a whisk, add the cream and mix well.

10 min. before the end of the regime "Soup", add fried vegetables and mix well. And 5 minutes before the end of the program, pour the egg-cream mixture.

Constantly stir the soup until thick and the completion of the program.
