Description

Chowder aunt Madeleine
The most simple variant. Recently saw in a magazine a familiar name. Remembered that I had seen another option, easier. And when rummaged in its records, it found two similar recipes. I decided to join, but I am posting the easiest.

Cooking

step-0
The original recipe suggest to take a chicken drumstick. But we are not looking for easy ways. I had a lot of chicken for 2 pounds. I separated the legs and wings - that was enough.
step-1
Fry in a pan the chicken in a little oil, over medium heat 7-8 min on each side
step-2
Take out chicken, put aside, drained from the oil, leaving 2 tbsp. In this oil fry the onion, when it starts to prozrachniy, add the garlic whole (teeth)
step-3
After 2 minutes put grated on a coarse grater carrots and sliced small sweet peppers. Fry for another 3-4 minutes and add the herbes de Provence. Pour a glass of hot water, stir and turn off heat.
step-4
On the bottom of the pan (at меня3 5 liters) put the first fried chicken
step-5
Then white beans
step-6
and our browned vegetables, pour 1.5 liters of boiling water, add salt-pepper to taste, cover...
step-7
And put on 20 min in the oven at 200 degrees. If you have a lid with a plastic handle, just cover the pan with foil.
step-8
After 20 minutes take out the pan. On top of our soup put the pieces of baguette. I sliced it up thick, 3-4 cm and just filed it in advance, so that it dried up.
step-9
On top of the baguette - grated on a coarse grater cheese. In the oven, without the lid, for 7-10 minutes, just so cheese is melted.
step-10
I got extremely fatty cheese, but the soup still was a success. Simple food, no complaints. The baguette was filled with broth, and in General it was not clear that it is there
step-11
Bon appetit!!!
