Shrimp salad with lemongrass
Light shrimp salad with a nice hint of lemon with the addition of the lemongrass. Very tasty, dieting not quite usual.

Ingredients

  • Shrimp

    225 g

  • Tomato

    2 piece

  • Chili

    0.5 piece

  • Lettuce

    1 coup

  • Lemongrass

    2 piece

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

From hot pepper remove seeds, cut into thin strips. Lemongrass (not the thick part) is cut into strips.

In any case, show what it looks like this lemongrass. More correct name of lemon grass. I confess I used it for the first time, painfully I was interested in it when bought in the market greens. Has a distinct flavor, intermediate between lemon and lemon balm. As found out later, this is a traditional Thai spice.

In vegetable oil lightly fry the pepper and lemongrass.

Add peeled shrimp, grated lemon zest and lemon juice. Fry the mixture on high heat for another 2 minutes and put in a salad bowl.

Cut tomatoes into segments.

Green salad to tear, mix with tomatoes and shrimp. Season with salt and black pepper. The salad is ready. Lemongrass gives this salad a spicy flavor. Bon appetit!
