Dessert with cream and biscuits in Greek
During a vacation on Crete the owner of one of the local taverns after dinner will certainly served us dessert homemade cookies, sandwiched fat Greek yogurt, and drizzled with fruit jam. This simple dessert my husband liked it so much that upon returning home I began to cook it. Unfortunately, the right yogurt for dessert we have is not to buy it, so I replaced it with a familiar and available sour cream and confiture with honey and walnuts. I suggest to You to make this easy to do dessert.

Ingredients

  • Cookies

    200 g

  • Sour cream

    500 g

  • Sugar

    4 Tbsp

  • Honey

    3 Tbsp

  • Walnuts

    50 g

Cooking

step-0
To begin, I weighed the sour cream at room temperature, in a folded three layers of gauze. This is necessary in order to get rid of excess whey, it takes about 3-4 hours, longer leave is not worth it, otherwise the cream will become too dense and will not soak the cookies. In General you can skip this step and use the cream right out of the package. Ready sour cream beat with a mixer with 4 tbsp of sugar until it dissolves (sugar is possible and less focus on your taste). The bottom of the form, where are we going to do dessert, slightly lubricate the sour cream and put the cookies in a single layer, then again cream and biscuits and repeat the layers, topping it all off with sour cream, so in total I have 3 layers (in the form of a 15*15 cm). Cover form from severiane and put in refrigerator at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
step-1
Walnuts rinse and lightly fry in a pan or in the microwave. Chop nuts with a knife.
step-2
Present the top of the dessert to pour a thin layer of honey (if honey thick, melt it slightly in a water bath or in the microwave) and sprinkle with nuts. Instead, you can use honey, fruit or berry jam, jams, honey and nuts I personally think tastes better.
