Creme de menthe
It is nice from time to time to arrange a romantic evening with your loved ones. To create a pleasant mood could not be better suited with a good wine or liqueur. But if this liqueur is made with your own hands? Think, beloved it is doubly pleasant to taste.

Ingredients

  • Cognac

    500 ml

  • Mint

    6 piece

  • Sugar

    400 g

  • Water

    1 cup

Mint to wash, dry and lay on the bottom of the jar.

Pour mint cognac. Close the lid and put in a dark place to infuse for 1-2 weeks (I stayed for 1,5 week).

Filter the cognac. Cook the syrup: 400 g sugar take 1 Cup of water. Let cool to room temperature and mix with our mint cognac and again close the lid. The color of our bitters and brandy remained, but became more deep and rich. Looks very nice on the light.

The liquor should now stand for at least a month. Then bottle and enjoy.

For the sake of interest I tried the part of the liquor add green food coloring (mint is still green). The color turned out very peculiar. At a certain angle - green, under a different brandy.
