Marinated green beans
Here in France, very often served green beans as a side dish. I used to never eat but now love her very much, as it is very useful, it is low calorie; in General, a great addition to meat or fish dish. It can be simply boiled, and you can make this dish. Something like canned green beans, but cooked at home, which means it's healthier and tastier. The recipe for this dish was posted on the website in 2008 by user elena_110 called "Pickled green beans" and is illustrated with me in the framework of "Coloring".

Ingredients

  • Green beans

    200 g

  • Water

    0.5 l

  • Honey

    1 tsp

  • Vinegar

    2 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Bay leaf

    2 piece

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Salt

    1.5 tsp

  • Black pepper

    0.5 tsp

Cooking

Here are the ingredients.

Water to pot, bring to a boil, add the vinegar, honey and vegetable oil.

Add salt, pepper and Bay leaf. Boil all together for about 2-3 minutes.

Then add to the pot of beans (not defrosting!!!)

Cook beans on low heat for about 10-12 minutes. Turn off the heat. Add the chopped garlic.

Cool and put in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Makes a great appetizer, and I think that it is possible to add it to the beans and in salads (instead of canned, for example), but you can have just on the side, for example. Bon appetit!
