Approaching Christmas. In Italy every family starts preparing for their favorite holiday. Every woman frantically thinking what sweets to make this year. And sweets at Christmas is sacred!... Offer you the original recipe shortbread "Oriental delight" with slices of figs, hazelnuts and honey.

Honey

Cocoa powder

Egg white

Cooking
Butter, melt on low heat. Let cool slightly.
Dates, coarsely cut.
Hazelnuts cut on the fan, i.e., coarsely or finely as desired.
In the butter add sugar, mix well (preferably with a mixer). Gradually add salt, honey, egg whites and cocoa powder. Mix well. Gradually begin to add the flour, stirring well.
Last add nuts and dates.
