Calamari stuffed with crab meat and cheese
I love squid, and other marine life. Delicious and quick to prepare calmacil stuffed with crab meat, cheese and rice cereal. A great alternative to ordinary rice and does not weigh down the filling.

Ingredients

  • Squid

    4 piece

  • Crab meat

    80 g

  • Cheese

    160 g

  • Green onions

    3 piece

  • Rice flakes

    60 g

  • Mayonnaise

    2 Tbsp

  • Spices

Cooking

For cooking I use rice flakes from TM "Mistral".

Measure out your desired amount of cereal, pour 230 ml of hot water, cover with a plate and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Over time the plate is taken away, the flakes stir and leave to cool. If a little water is not absorbed, gently drain.

While the cereal cool down, cut into small cubes crab meat, grate half of the cheese, onions wash, drain and finely chop.

Add to crab mixture rice flakes, stir, add salt and pepper to taste. Add the mayonnaise, just a spoon or two to bond the mass.

Squid wash, dry and fill with crab rice mixture. Not much tight stuff, when cooked, the squid will shrink and the stuffing will come out.

Lay squid pigs in the form, greased with butter. To grease with mayonnaise and sprinkle with remaining grated cheese. Bake in the oven at 200 C for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is Browning. I baked it on the upper level.

Cool, slice with a sharp knife rings and serve.
