Lean Burger with a Patty made of lentils and guacamole. In the post it is especially important to add to your diet more vegetable protein. One of the leaders in its content is lentils. It is a wonderful product, you can cook many different dishes. For example, today I want to offer you to try lentil Patty. And in order that the dish was satisfying and interesting propose to use these burgers in an unusual vegetable Burger. As an accompaniment to lentils, I chose one of my favorite dips - guacamole. It freshens up the dish and makes it juicy. In lentil Patty, I added the potatoes for better adhesiveness and curry for flavor and taste of the East. All this together resulted in a very tasty meatless Burger!

Ingredients

  • Lentils

    100 g

  • Water

    200 ml

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    0.5 piece

  • Potatoes

    1 piece

  • Avocado

    1 piece

  • Red onion

    0.25 piece

  • Parsley

    0.5 coup

  • Lemon juice

    2 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 piece

  • Curry

    2 piece

  • Peppers red hot chilli

    1 piece

  • Bun

    3 piece

  • Cabbage

    3 handful

  • Flour

    1 Tbsp

Cooking

Lentils cover with water and put on fire. When the water boils, reduce the heat and cook for 10 minutes. In the end it should be almost fully prepared, not overcooked lentils. Potatoes clean, cut into large cubes and boil until tender in salted water.

Half onion cut into small cubes, peel the carrot and grate on a medium grater. Sauté the vegetables in butter until it will turn brown, then saute a couple of minutes.

Mix potatoes, lentils, onions and carrots.

Season with salt, add red pepper and curry. Mix well.

To form from the resulting minced flat meatballs and lightly roll them in flour. Turns 5-6 meatballs.

Patties fry in olive oil on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until Golden brown.

Prepare the guacamole. Peel avocado and chop the flesh into a puree. You can do it with a fork, if the fruit is very ripe or with a blender. I love when guacamole felt small pieces, so not much was milled. Red onion very finely chopped and mixed with mashed avocado.

In the sauce add finely chopped parsley, olive oil, lemon juice and salt. Mix and guacamole ready. The main thing to manage to not eat it all while trying =))

Rolls cut in half, lightly drizzle with olive oil and fry in a pan to light it will turn brown.

Assemble the Burger. On one half of the bun spread the guacamole and distribute it across the surface.

... then finely chopped cabbage. Cover with other half of rolls and serve while they are definitely not cool.

In the Burger you can also add other vegetable like tomatoes. Out the post, you can add cheese, for example, delicate mozzarella. If you put it on the still warm cakes, it will melt slightly and turn out very tasty!
