Today I want to share a wonderful Italian recipe. Will need some work, but the result will please you and it's worth it. Would make an excellent lunch or dinner. Recommend!

Cooking
Peel the onion, the garlic, chop and saute in olive oil in a frying pan.
For the sauce I used tomato puree homemade. You can substitute fresh tomatoes, pre-clearing of the skin. Spread the tomato puree to the onions, pepper, salt, add the thyme and Bay leaf. All mix well.
Add chicken fillets and drumsticks in the pan, pour the wine, stir, cover and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, occasionally turning the chicken. When the meat is ready remove it from the pan and leave aside to cool.
To the sauce add the florets of cauliflower and simmer for 10 minutes, until the sauce thickens. The size of the inflorescence at your discretion if you want them not to "notice" some consumers, it is possible to cut smaller. It was my replacement for the mushrooms, I didn't have them. If you have one, add in the sauce and sliced mushrooms. Put the sauce in a bowl and leave to cool.
While cold meat and sauce cooked in salted water pasta until al dente. I have a tube of spaghetti. They are easier then the form put, but you can try pasta and other shapes, however, will be difficult. Drain off water, sprinkle with a little olive oil to not stick together and cool.
Remove the cooled meat from bone, peel and cut into cubes. Mix with the sauce.
Whisk the eggs, add sour cream, salt, pepper to taste, add chopped parsley and grated cheese. Ideally Parmesan, but failing that, I've changed to Dutch, so forgive me Italians. All carefully mix.
Received the egg mixture, mix with meat sauce. Turned out the filling for our pie.
Prepare the form in which we bake our Timballo, abundantly greased with butter. I have all refractory form, expanding upward with a capacity of 1.5 liters. Now comes the hard part (at least for me). Put one noodle after the other in a single layer, starting from the center, in a spiral to cover the bottom and sides of the form. Say, wasn't easy, but I did not give up and I did. Make sure there are no voids. We post all our fillings. I have every last drop was placed. On top I put another layer of pasta, although it is not necessary, but I cooked too much pasta in the ingredients already reduced the number. Baked pie/casserole in a preheated 180 degree oven for about an hour, watch the oven, in my case it was 45 minutes.
Get the form from the oven, leave for 10 minutes and turn cake onto a plate. Leave for another 15 minutes, cut into portions and serve his household or guests. It was delicious!
When the cake cools it is easier to cut and shape holds up better, but difficult to resist, I want piping hot.
