Millet porridge with meat and vegetables
In my family this mess called "Plov from Taras Bulba", because my eldest son is studying the works of N. Gogol, found a great love of the inhabitants of the Ukraine in the old days to the millet. Porridge is tasty and very juicy (if so, you can assess the mess :-) ). This is my original recipe. Cooked in multivarka VITEK VT-4211 W

Ingredients

  • Meat

    800 g

  • Millet

    1.5 cup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Zucchini

    1 piece

  • Sweet pepper

    1 piece

  • Tomato

    2 piece

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

  • Salt

The meat is cut into pieces. Choose the mode "Stewing", pour 1 tbsp oil, spread the meat, pepper. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, cube onions and cut it. Add in the bowl multivarki. Stir.

Carrots cleaned, cut into large strips or slices as you like. Add in the bowl multivarki and continue fighting.

While a stew, we cut the peppers into strips, zucchini half-rings. My tomatoes.

Wash millet thoroughly under running water. As they used to say my grandmother: "seven waters", otherwise it will feel a specific taste.

After the process of stewing meat. Put in a bowl multivarki zucchini..

Salt on our porridge and pour warm water (from the kettle) 2 fingers below the level in the bowl multivarki. On top of millet lay out slices of tomatoes
