Today I want to share with you one of my favorite salads of our family - Vosges salad. Vosges is nebolshoy region in the North-East of France with a small but very beautiful mountains, forests, and simple, delicious peasant cuisine. And even in such a small region there are several versions of this salad. I offer you the one that did the grandmother of my husband, his mother and now me.

Cooking
In General, it's very simple. Lettuce wash and dry.
Onion cut into half rings. I took red, it's not necessary, I just like it very much :blush:
Eggs boil, cool and cut into quarters.
Tomato wash and cut into rings.
The bacon slice and fry without oil until Golden brown. At the end of cooking the bacon, add a dollop of sour cream. It takes to fry bacon and make the sauce: mix vinegar, oil and mustard.
On a plate or in a dish put the lettuce in the center of the tomatoes, place the quartered eggs, onions, sprinkle with croutons, add the still-warm bacon, cover with the sauce. Mix well and eat.
