14. On the flattened surface appears a small ribbed pattern.
15. Put "cakes" on a large baking sheet (the author of the recipe says that the baking tray should be with high sides). I have a regular cookie sheet from the oven.
16. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees, bake for about 20-30 minutes.
17. Cook the syrup. Squeeze the juice of half an orange ( original lemon)
18. In a saucepan in which to cook the syrup, pour the sugar, add 0.5 packs of vanilla.

23. Humaikani cover baking sheet with another baking sheet and leave in this condition until cool. They should absorb all the syrup.
24. The cooled cakes. ( I have left in the pan 0.5 cups syrup)
25. Put on a plate. ( the remaining syrup poured on top of cakes).
27. Hurmasice are unusual, as for cake. They taste unusual, have a strong pleasant aroma of coconut and citrus, moist, tender, slightly crumbly. The author of the recipe also wrote that you can substitute coconut for the nuts.
