In the East, the sweets have always been held in high esteem. They here and now many, and they are very different. Some of the traditional Oriental desserts we see daily on the shelves of our stores, but to truly experience the magic of the culinary arts of the East, and to appreciate it fully, you can only visit the world-famous Oriental bazaars, with their thousands of shops and boutiques, coffee shops and tea rooms. The dough is "kadayif" the most popular for cooking Oriental treats (this is phyllo dough, sliced very thin, like the hair.). The first time he saw "kadayif", wondering how such a thing can be done? Sweets made from this dough to resemble anything but pastries. Plexus thin filaments can be mistaken for a birds nest, for a bundle of dried seaweed, for the work of the hands of the sculptor of a hundred Avangarde, but after trying this incredible treat, you are convinced that it is truly a masterpiece, not art, and cooking. Kadayif or, in other words, kataifi (and kanafeh), has spread from Arab countries to Central Asia and even reached the Balkans. Earlier this delicacy was only a privilege of the rich, they were made for the sultans and their harems. Today the products of this test has spread among ordinary people, but they still cannot be called the daily dish, they are called to decorate the dining table and impress guests! Tomorrow I have to visit my aunt and uncle from Europe!!! I decided to meet these sweets, as they always do when entertaining foreign guests, it became possible to say my tradition! When you go to my page, you are also guests in some degree, and so today I want to welcome each of You in the East!
step-1
Sweets very easy to do. The main thing to find the dough!!! In Europe it is, if you search well, in Moscow I think, too... we must look to the Eastern markets, Turkish stores or in the Department where they sell phyllo dough. That's the way it looks "Shredded Thin Dough".
step-2
First make the syrup cools down. Allow water to boil, put sugar, juice of one lemon and flavoring as desired (I have a cinnamon stick). Stir until the sugar is dissolved, allow to boil and cook for 4-5 minutes. Ready. Let cool down. Make sweets. We need to melt the butter.
step-3
To cut off the beam test of a thickness of less than 1 cm and a length of about 20 cm.
step-4
The beam to wrap around 2 fingers (index and middle) to form the nest. Grease a form with butter and put the finished nests in the form, right next to each other.
step-5
Brush lubricated all the nests on all sides with melted butter.
step-6
Inside lay the nuts: in the original, whole pistachios, but I like the taste of toasted walnuts, I used them this time.
step-7
To put in heated to 180 degrees. the oven. Bake until Golden brown. Sweets ready pour cold syrup.
step-8
Allow to cool in pan and put on a plate!
