Chicken with chickpeas and meat balls with bulgur in tomato sauce. This dish is just steeped in Oriental flavor bulgur, chickpeas, mint, cilantro, delicious beef meatballs with semolina... Oh what pleasant company! Extremely tasty and, most importantly, a beautiful dish. If you need a hearty lunch or dinner - this recipe is what you need. Recipe adapted for the slow cooker.

Ingredients

Soak the chickpeas in plenty of water the night before.

Half a chicken carcass cut into small pieces.

Put multivarku mode "Roasting", pour vegetable oil and fry the chicken pieces until light blush. Rinse the chickpeas and add to the chicken, add hot water so that it just covers the chickpeas with chicken, salt and pepper. Put the program "Quenching" at 1.5 hours.

Beef mince with onions, add the washed bulgur, semolina (semolina), paprika, salt, black pepper. Pour a little water, approximately 2 tbsp., the stuffing should be slightly sticky and soft. Stir and drop the meat on the table.

Roll balls of 10g each, the size of a little more hazelnut.

Boil at a low boil in salted water for 10 minutes. Do not overcook!

Heat the saucepan and fry in vegetable oil, roughly chopped onions until zolotisty, add the paprika, dried mint (very desirable!), salt and pepper, pour the tomato paste and dilute it a few tablespoons of broth. I used homemade tomato juice, so nothing is diluted.

Hold down the fire tomato sauce a couple of minutes and add meat balls, let it cook gently for them in the sauce for another 2 minutes

After 1 hour, 20 minutes, open the slow cooker and pour the sauce with meatballs. Stir, close the lid and simmer the remaining 10 minutes. The finished dish sprinkle with chopped cilantro.

For a garnish you can cook the couscous or rice. I cooked the couscous. Pour it into a small saucepan and pour boiling water in a ratio of 1 part couscous to 2 parts water. Cover pot and let stand for 10-15 minutes. Will vzryhlite the couscous with a fork, put it on a plate, generously pour the sauce with chickpeas and meatballs, and add the chicken pieces. Sprinkle fresh cilantro and serve immediately!
