Vegetable soup with pasta and lentils
Now comes the post and meals with legumes as not relevant. Because they contain the necessary amino acids and are a great alternative to meat. This vegetable soup with lentils very filling. And spices and soy sauce "Kikkoman", therefore it is very fragrant and warming. In this nasty cold weather that prevails in most parts of the planet, this dish is simply irreplaceable. But there where it is warm, this soup, served hot, and warm will be a great lunch or dinner.

In vegetable oil fry the onion, carrot and celery. If you are using bacon, it is also to fry with the vegetables for 5-7 minutes. Vegetables and bacon can be cut arbitrarily. But as for the soup I used long noodles, and the vegetables were cut into long pieces.

Bring the broth to a boil, add the fried vegetables and the washed lentils. The amount of broth depends on desired thickness of soup.

Scald the tomatoes, remove the skin and RUB into a puree. Also add in a pot of soup. You can use ready-made tomato paste. I pureed the orange tomatoes.

Now add the soy sauce, rosemary, a small pinch of chili pepper and, if desired, a clove of garlic.

To prepare the pasta of your favorite shape. I took the long noodles and broke it into three parts. Persian red lentils are cooked quickly - in just 10 minutes. Therefore, when laying the pasta in the soup focus the time and cooking the pasta until al dente, specified on the pack. Since the pasta will cook until ready until ready already when you turn off the heat.

I had written 10 minutes, so I added them to the pan with the lentils at the same time. At the end of cooking, let the soup to infuse for about 15 minutes and serve. The photo is almost a stew, not a soup. In my family we give preferred e-dense first course, like intoppi. If You prefer a less thick, just add more broth.
