Pickled onions-the Indian
This pickled onions are served in Indian restaurants to any meat dishes. I really want to and you have joined the flavors of India.

Ingredients

  • Lime

    4 piece

  • Onion

    4 piece

  • Garam masala

    2 tsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

Chop the onions into strips and put in container.

Squeeze the juice of lime. I have an absolutely wonderful device for this operation which I have is titled "not a drop of the enemy", because it squeezes the juice is almost dry and the bones do not miss. If there is no lime, use lemon. On this amount of onions one lemon of medium size will be enough.

Add the garam masala.

Then sprinkle with salt and add the sugar. Adjust amount of sugar according to your taste. I have about 1 tbsp

Mix and leave at least half an hour. I have stood day and all the better for it. Served with the biryani - Indian version of pilaf. But, as life has shown, the potatoes also goes instantly. Bon appetit!
