Ingredients

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Olive oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Thyme

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Semi-dry red wine

    500 ml

  • Broth

    1 l

  • Garlic

    5 tooth

Peel the onion and cut into thin half-rings.

Garlic peel and finely chop.

In skillet, heat butter and olive oil. Add thyme, sliced onions, season with salt and pepper. Fry on medium heat for a few minutes, add the garlic and fry for another minute. Slightly reduce the fire, the pan cover. Cook 15-20 minutes with regular stirring.

To increase the fire, pour the wine. To cook until boiling liquid.

Pour in the stock, bring to the boil. Cook over low heat 45-60 minutes. Serve with cheese croutons. I make in the microwave (with a power of 800 W for 70 sec.). Can be done in the oven.
