Description
In Turkey, Breakfast is a special place. Name kahvalti ("Breakfast") is derived from the phrase kahve alti ("under-coffee"), which means "food before coffee." In the old days, after Breakfast, be sure to drink a Cup of Turkish coffee. Today, the custom of drinking morning coffee slightly lost its relevance, it is more accepted to use fresh, fragrant, well-brewed tea. Traditional Turkish Breakfast is a protracted, often blends in with lunch. I want to introduce one of these breakfasts. Menemen is a traditional Turkish Breakfast of onions, peppers, tomatoes and eggs. I can even say that it is the king of breakfasts!!!! Quickly cooked and of simple ingredients, and yummy!!!!!

Cooking
I offer you the amount of ingredients for 1 serving. Turkish families are very large - 4-6 children (on average), hence, for Breakfast they use a kilo of large tomatoes, a dozen eggs, 5-6 peppers and lots of onions (to taste). Mother-in-law have 4 children, constantly coming to visit granddaughter and then a daughter-in-law (that's me), imagine the Breakfast you need to prepare! Our husband and family still small, so many products we don't need. Let's start to cook. Cut pepper is very finely and fry 2 minutes in oil.
Onion cut into half rings and add to the pepper, fry for 3-4 minutes.
We need the pulp of the tomatoes, so either put them in a blender or grate on a grater. Add to peppers and onions and stir, simmer 5 minutes under the lid.
After 5 minutes add eggs.
Mix well, salt, pepper (optional) simmer, stirring constantly, until all the liquid is evaporated. Control yourself. Many Turks love little mediarelate to be able to dip the bread.
Traditionally Menemen is served in the same dish, which was prepared, is placed in the middle of the table or on the tablecloth which is spread on the floor (the majority of Turkish families eat on the floor or on a very low table, sitting on the floor). Have am bought warm, fresh-baked bread. Each tears off a piece and scoops them Menemen right out of the pan. I applied on the plate as Breakfast is made for one person - for my husband.
Sochi could be your traditional Sunday Breakfast when the whole family is going and relatives. Then you can file it in the same way as is done in Turkish families: to put the samovar to brew tea and to eat, slowly, enjoying not only a delicious and healthy Breakfast, but a conversation with your loved ones and relatives!!! Bon appetit!
