I represent to Your attention a pie with a filling of apricot jam. The idea to design my personal pie. It is quite simple, but the end result is pleasing to the eye.

Cooking
Prepare the sourdough. In warm milk dissolve yeast, add 1 tablespoon of sugar and sift as much flour. Mix well. The consistency should be as for pancakes. Cover and leave in a warm place for 1 hour. Eggs ( I have 2 large) eggs with sugar and salt, mix well melt Butter and allow to cool to room temperature. In the dough add the eggs, sugar, oil, sifted flour with vanilla. Knead the dough. The dough cover and leave in a warm place for a couple of hours. The finished dough divided into 2 parts. From one part to roll out a round cake
Evenly apply apricot jam.
From another part of the test roll out the sheet and cut into strips with a width of 0.8 mm
Spread in a circle the first row, forming from each strip a loop
Next lay out the second row. Put one slightly above the first.
Now weave 4 strips of braid.
Weave start with the top strips and then mixed.
Makes 8 braids. Further, cross-shaped spread 4 strips. Cut the excess ends.
Skip the strip around the circumference, under the tail, over the perpendicular strip, and again, under the tail and above the strip and so on around the circle. Wrap it down under the main cake the ends of the braids and separate the strips.
Roll out another strip, of a width of 3-4 cm and close the edges of the cake. The middle can be adjusted as You like. I made a rosette
Grease the pie with the beaten egg yolk and leave for 30 minutes Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes until Golden brown
