Belgian almond cake
This is an amazing almond cake. Tender, with a rich almond flavor, moderately sweet. I just love such cakes. This cake I made especially for of Tania (tat70 ).

Ingredients

  • Almonds

    125 g

  • Butter

    125 g

  • Flour

    75 g

  • Sugar

    125 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    25 g

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

Almond pour boiling water and leave for 3 minutes. Drain the water and remove the nuts from the husk. Spread the almonds on a baking sheet and put in preheated 180 degree oven for 15 minutes.

The cooled almonds chop with a knife or grind using a blender.

Butter blend butter with both types of sugar in a lush light cream. Separate the yolks from the whites. Whipping, enter one yolks alternately with chopped almonds.

Whip whites into a thick foam.

Beaten egg whites pour into a creamy mass, alternately with the flour. Put the dough in a greased form.

Bake for 40-45 minutes until Golden brown. When serving you can sprinkle with powdered sugar.

This cake is delicious both hot and cold. It is not much raised, because in the test there is no baking powder, but the texture of the air-porous with slices of toasted nuts. If you don't, when caught pieces of nuts, pre-grind them into crumbs. Enjoy your tea!
