Description
The dessert... black bread also called "Bread soup". This dish is typical of North-Eastern Europe. Do not rush to say, "Fi!", try it, it's delicious! Many are skeptical about this dish but once you try it, they become fans!

Cooking
To prepare the toasts from rye bread. Cut the bread into slices, dry in the oven, don't overcook.
Pour the bread crumbs with boiling water and leave to "ripen" for an hour.
To prepare the fruit. Here, any suitable sour-sweet fruits and berries. I had frozen black currants, added a bit of sugar and wiped it with a blender. If You take dried fruit, wash, cut. If apples, then peel, cut into pieces. You can take any sour-sweet jam or jelly.
A lot of bread to put in an enamel pot on a small fire to warm, not boiling, then 5 minutes. Then add honey or sugar to taste ground cinnamon and/or ground cloves or ginger, lemon or orange zest. Stir and heat again. The grain mass should become homogeneous, if you want, you can wipe it through a sieve. But I just carefully rubbed with a spoon.
You can add fruit or jam during cooking the grain mass. But I prefer to put the dessert in layers: a layer of sweet bread, then sour – fruity, sour cream (cream), then again, bread and fruit.
