Pie Herringbone
Very simple and fast. Just in time for the Christmas holidays, when so much to do! Instead of chocolate you can use sugar-cinnamon or even make a savoury version with cheese. Kids loved to break off the "needles" with colorful balls and eat them. Join us!

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry

    450 g

  • Chocolate milk

    30 g

  • Topping pastry

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Powdered sugar

    2 tsp

  • Lemon juice

    2 tsp

Two layers of dough to slightly roll up. In one direction only, so as not to disturb the layers. With a sharp knife cut away the two triangles at the top, cut down the trunk of the tree and make the kind of needles. One triangle cut star.

Chocolate to destroy pieces or melt. Cover one layer of dough, cover with the second layer and slightly press.

Wrap each strip in a spiral, the end slightly suscipit. To grease with a yolk. Don't forget about the starfish! Bake at 220-240°C for 5-8 minutes, then at 160-180 °C until tender.

Powdered sugar mix with lemon juice and pour the finished cake. Sprinkle of beads. I used the topping TM Dr. Oetker.
