Salad
Decided to post my first recipe and this is my favorite childhood salad. Found a similar site, but exactly the same is not seen, so I would venture) Not sure how this salad we had, but I on every occasion asked my mom to make "hedgehog". Perhaps this name because of its design, but later we made out and as the bumps, and as just a bunch of incomprehensible things, but the hedgehog he stayed forever. Today I tried to play that beloved true hedgehog.

Ingredients

  • Beef liver

    500 g

  • Mushrooms

    350 g

  • Pickled cucumber

    3 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Mayonnaise

    100 g

Cooking

step-0
In the photo the necessary ingredients (and mayonnaise).
step-1
We're doing liver. I'm usually prepared from beef, but pork. First, the liver should be well washed and soaked in water for 20 minutes, changing the water several times.
step-2
After soaking, remove with a liver wrap, put on fire and cook for about 30-40 minutes until tender.
step-3
While the liver is cooking, prepare the mushrooms. I use mushrooms. Cut into small stripes.
step-4
Finely chop the onion.
step-5
Sauté mushrooms and onion in vegetable oil.
step-6
When the liver is cooked, cool it and cut into stripes.
step-7
Also cut strips of pickles. Take 3-4 pieces, depending on size. I got this time was small.
step-8
Now it's time to combine all the ingredients, but first, set aside a little liver sticks for decoration of salad. The rest of the liver mixed with mushrooms and cucumbers. Mayonnaise (amount in its sole discretion, but in the original it should be a lot).
step-9
You must leave the salad for a while, so he got soaked. Before the holidays we prepared him in advance and left to soak overnight. Today I left only half an hour. When the salad has rested, place it on a dish, creating the shape of a hedgehog.
step-10
Good smooth shape. Make the muzzle of mayonnaise. Of the cubes of liver are doing the nines. Nose and eyes I was usually made of Maslin, but this time I didn't have them, so I used cucumbers. It turned out a little sloppy, but the taste was not worse.
step-11
Same show as we did from the hedgehog Christmas pine cone, turned out too cute. I hope you will enjoy my salad. Thank you for your attention and Bon appetit!
