Description
The original recipe name sounds just like "pie& quot;, but in essence, is rice pudding, so I let this addition. Honestly, baked it twice, the first on the original recipe, the second with some of its changes. Bring both, suddenly someone come in handy. The author of the cake is the incomparable Jamie Oliver, who constantly delights us with simple and delicious recipes. The idea thank Light (Jensen).

Cooking
1. In a saucepan with a thick bottom or non-stick coating, heat the milk, add the vanilla sugar (amount of sugar I was a little cut). Milk bring to a boil, add washed rice and cook for about 30 minutes on a slow fire until the rice is tender. In the first case, I took less rice in the second - I wanted to try to create a more dense structure and I got more rice in half.
2. For the caramel in a separate bowl to combine the sugar and water, cook, stirring until the sugar dissolves over medium heat. Bring to a boil, add the fire and boil the syrup to a light caramel (at this stage not to interfere!). A sample of the willingness and color can be made by dropping a drop of syrup on a white plate. She needs to harden a light-brown ball.
3. For the second option, pre-wash and dry the cranberries and, after the readiness of the caramel, quickly stir the cranberries with the caramel.
4. Egg whisk with a fork and mix with a little cold rice. By the way, rice porridge, this rice is so delicious, I almost ate half the "dough" in the process.
5. In a prepared form (the form does not lubricated!) pour the caramel and spread cranberries evenly (for the second option). If you fail to pay exactly caramel, nothing wrong in the baking process it will spread evenly over the surface.
6. Sprinkle the rice layer. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. On the bottom layer of the oven put a deep baking tray half filled with water. Form set on a baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 35 minutes (I baked to a state of dry matches). Ready pie to cool in the shape and flip through the plates to the dish caramel layer up.
