This cake I prepared for two days of birth. Son - August 31, and husband to 1 September. Plus another cousin, went to the first class, that was the reason for such a large cake. Most importantly, everyone was happy. And of course - the competition "School time".

Cooking
For the first sponge cake, 6 eggs divided into whites and yolks.
Proteins vzbit with a glass of sugar and a pinch of salt in a solid foam. Yolks white.
Gently, on low speed of mixer, combine yolks and whites.
Flour mixed with baking powder, sift it. Stir with a mixer on low speed.
Put the pan with baking paper and grease it with butter. Put the dough and bake in a preheated 175 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Readiness check splinter.
The second cake do also, but use 4 eggs, 3/4 Cup sugar and 3/4 Cup flour. I did not work to reflect this in the ingredients because I write here. Add the lemon zest. Also baked at 175 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
