Cooking
In a bowl, sift together the flour, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Add cold butter cubes and egg yolk. Grind everything into crumbs and knead the dough quickly. Long knead not necessary, otherwise the dough will be delayed and after baking is hard! Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.
While the dough is cooled, prepare a filling. In a bowl combine all the ingredients for the filling and mix everything thoroughly with a hand blender. I only had 400 g of cottage cheese and I added another 150g cream cheese.
Chilled roll out the dough and transfer to a baking dish with a diameter of 20-22 cm, to make the boards with the height of 5-6 cm Prick with a fork and send in a preheated to 200 C oven for 5 minutes. The oven reduce to 170, pour the filling and bake for ~ 40 minutes.
I was just making kasekuchen in the evening and left it to cool overnight and in the morning we waited for the delicious Breakfast!
