Dumplings are considered a traditional dish of Ukrainian cuisine, they have even nicely prepared Gogol Solokha, but really few know that the roots of this dish go into Turkish cuisine. Just perimenopause dish of Turkish cuisine so appreciated by the Ukrainians that the "infidel" dyush-Vara, it gradually turned into Vara-Niki, and then in the pride of Ukrainian cuisine - vareniki with typical fillings: bacon, Tsybulya, Bulba, cherries. Later stuffings became even more. Now each one according to his taste can choose the stuffing of the dumplings and the dough.
