Halva from semolina ...
Continue the series of recipes - "cereal". I always have, then dispose of the products in the refrigerator, "at the bottom of the barrel will pomatum". And today, after updating "garderobchik" their tanks with the bulk, we decided again to resort to cereal. Recipe from the book "cereal".

Ingredients

  • Semolina

    1.5 cup

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Water

    0.5 l

  • Margarine

    100 g

  • Cocoa powder

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

Melt the margarine in a skillet.

Add the semolina and fry until Golden brown.

Cook the syrup.

Semolina is ready to shift into a saucepan(or in a container,which will use more) and pour the boiling syrup.Stirring bring to the boil and boil for 1-2 minutes.

Remove from heat and wrap in a warm towel and the top is tightly secured with a lid(I took the bath towel with several layers).

Let stand for 15-20 minutes. Add the cocoa and mix gently with a fork.

Tamping spoon to smooth the surface and again to wrap up.Keep it to cool down.(I have so long to keep did not work,the children came from school,had to be transported in the cold,so to speed up the process). The result was a delicious cobbler.Not to say that similar to traditional halvah in our understanding,BUT DELICIOUS!!! PS When the dessert has cooled cut into pieces.
