Cooking
Onions cut and fry in vegetable oil. Add the tomato (previously peeled and sliced). Cook on medium heat under the lid.
When tomatoes a bit will spread, evaporate excess liquid (remove the lid and increase the temperature). In the photo the final version, which we could do it.
The tomato mass to be sent to the processor. Add salt, pepper, garlic, and Basil. carefully grind.
Bread cut into pieces about 3 cm in thickness, not less. Dip in milk from both sides, a little squeeze and put them in the bottom of the form.
Reserve about 3-4 tbsp of tomato pulp, and the rest spread on bread.
Cheese grate on a grater and spread half of the total weight...
Repeat layer of bread, but the pieces are now about 1.5 cm in thickness. Don't forget to dip the bread in the milk.
On top of the bread is a layer of cheese (second half). Then add the remaining tomato mass.
Eggs, beat with milk (approx. 30 - 50 ml), literally a minute. Pour the mixture our casserole. Send in a preheated 170* oven for 45-55 minutes (focus on your oven). Casserole should be lightly browned and rise (increase in volume). Take out and leave on the table for about 30 minutes, that would be a bit cold.
