Description
Amazing doughnuts with a hint of honey and subtle lemon. This recipe I found on one Italian website. Slightly changed it, making it easier.

Cooking
Melt 50g of butter (or margarine) with 2 tbsp of honey (if You have liquid honey, then it should be easy to add in the dough). Beat 4 eggs with 1/2 Cup sugar and 1/2 tsp salt. A thin stream, stirring, pour the melted butter with honey. With lemon to remove the zest and add it to the dough.
2 cups flour sifted with 2 teaspoons of baking powder and begin gradually introduced into the liquid ingredients. The dough should be soft, not hard (it should come unstuck from the walls of the bowl and quite a bit sticks to the hands). If needed, add another Cup of flour (I needed another half Cup).
The finished dough divided into two parts, each roll into roll and cut into pieces, which roll into balls with a diameter of 1.5-2 cm.
Donuts remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel (to stack the excess fat).
Finished struffoli sprinkle with powdered sugar. Have a nice tea party!
