White potato bread
Continue the story of our favorite magical potatoes. Today, I want to buy potato bread! The crumb and crust, like the best bakery! Go! Treat!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    2 piece

  • Flour

    500 g

  • Water

    250 ml

  • Salt

    2 tsp

  • Cumin

    1 tsp

  • Fennel

    0.5 tsp

  • Yeast

    20 g

  • Sugar

    0.5 tsp

Cooking

Mix 3 tbsp. water, yeast and 1/2 tsp sugar. Leave to rise the yeast in warm mesto for 15 minutes.

Boil the potatoes in their skins. Cool, peel and grate on a coarse grater.

In a mortar cumin and fennel rubbed into the flour.

In the bowl of a mixer add the flour, salt, spices, yeast, water and grated potato.

Knead the dough. The ready dough put in a bowl sprinkled with flour. Put to approach the dough in a warm place.

The dough after an hour.

In the prepared baking dish spread the dough. Cover and leave for 15-20 minutes.

Grease top of the dough with warm water (50 ml.), in which we dissolved 1 teaspoon of salt. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 gr. 15 minutes. Again, grease top of bread with salt water and bake for another 30 minutes. Once to grease top of bread with salt and water to food processor 15 minutes.

Ready bread remove from the mold. Lubricate warm salt water and cool completely on wire rack. Do not cover!
