Tangerines in wine syrup
A wonderful winter dessert - delicate, light, delicious and very simple! Very convenient because you can prepare it in advance before serving and keep in the fridge. This recipe makes 1 jar volume of 0.7 L.

Ingredients

  • Mandarin

    6 piece

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Dry red wine

    0.5 cup

  • Sugar

    0.5 cup

  • Cinnamon

    2 piece

  • Cardamom

    3 piece

  • Star anise

    1 piece

Tangerine peel.

In a saucepan pour the wine, add water.

Add sugar.

Add spices. This part is optional, you can adjust it to your taste.

Bring contents of pan to a boil and cook over high heat for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.

Prepare the tangerines: to lower them in the boiling water and blanch for 5 minutes after boiling (small tangerines or clementines 3 minutes). Then oranges are removed, carefully scrape the white residues from the skin. Divide the fruit into halves or quarters (or even slices). What they will be smaller, the more they will be included in the jar.

Demolished the tangerines again immersed in boiling water, transfer to a prepared clean jar and pour hot syrup. Close the jar and leave until cool.
