Stuffed potatoes
Stuffed potatoes with leeks and smoked mackerel. Jacket is a type of Turkish fast food, which is easy to find with huge counter hear the smell of baked potatoes... it with different fillings (thirty species) and is "jacket". Potatoes for this fast food choose the best and the biggest, otherwise the jacket simply will not fit filling. And as the latter are the salads, sauces, meat, vegetables, finely chopped green and/or black olives, green peas, mushrooms, boiled corn, cheese, pieces of sausage. And in Russia we have very popular fast food, such as a network "Crumb-Potato", but the first time I met the potatoes for a very long time in Istanbul and this is called "Jacket", so it is called a recipe. How nice to cook at home by this delicious hot snack, invite friends and carry on a leisurely conversation over a glass of beer! Enjoy your time!!!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    6 piece

  • Mackerel

    1 piece

  • Leeks

    2 piece

  • Butter

    80 g

  • Horseradish

    2 Tbsp

  • Lemon juice

    2 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

  • Salt

Cooking

Potatoes wash brush under running water. Dry with a paper towel. Coat with olive oil, season with salt on all sides, wrap in foil, and bake in already heated oven to 200 gr. 1 hour 20 minutes until tender.

Smoked mackerel peel off the skin, separate the fillet, remove all bones. Fillet cut across in thin wedges (about 0.5 cm wide).

The white part of the leeks finely cut into rings.

When the potato is almost ready, melt half of butter in a frying pan, fry the leeks until soft, stirring regularly, approximately 5-6 minutes. Add horseradish, mackerel pieces and lemon juice. Stir, turn off the gas.

Prepared potatoes cut in half, but not completely. Loosen with a fork, add a knob of butter, whip, puree and season with salt. Fill the potato filling and serve hot. A nice drink to it will be beer! Bon appetit!!!
