Cooking
First put to boil the apricots. Dried apricots wash and pour water so that it only just covered up for her. To boil it 15 minutes, it is necessary to boil away the water, and the apricots swelled but did not dissolve. Dried apricots is better to take sweet. Sweeter than apricots, the less sugar goes in the cream. Accordingly, less calories :-)
Now, on to the honey test. With a mixer beat the eggs with the sugar until fluffy foam (I did a blender, beat eggs failed as it should, so the dough was crumbly. The quality of the cakes is not affected, but it was a little harder to work). Add liquid honey, and again beat well so that the honey is fully dispersed. Mix flour with soda and baking powder and add to egg mixture.
Then add another Cup of flour, stir, put on the table, sprinkled with 0,5 tbsp. flour and knead the dough. The dough should be pliable, but sticky on the inside (the author's words), so you need to constantly pour the flour.
As I wrote, the dough I got is very thin and it took 3 cups of flour, so I didn't add yet, but just stirred and left for 10 minutes in order for it to harden.
If the dough is pliable, divide it into 8 pieces and roll out into a thin layer, transferring to the baking sheet using the rolling pin. If the dough is loose, take two sheets of parchment, brush them with vegetable oil. On one sheet put a spoonful of the dough, cover with the second sheet and roll out. I basically spread the dough with your hands. Remove the top sheet and the bottom with the dough put on baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 200-220 degrees until Browning.
I got 7 cakes. Cut them while they're hot because they quickly become hard.
While baked cakes, our dried apricots are cold. To make in a blender puree. I added 2 tbsp of sour cream to make easier it was to beat. Sour cream if you want less calories cake, take low fat content, but it should be fairly thick (I just put the sour cream put in a colander with gauze, and excess liquid glass). Add sour cream to the potatoes cut. Sugar is added to taste. I gave 0.5 of Cup of sugar, but you could give less, dried apricots, and so was very sweet.
Here's a thick cream we have. Assemble cake and refrigerate at least overnight, and preferably for a day to cakes well soaked.
Decorate on your own. I did a cake for no reason, just to treat your family, not so much adorned. Milled trim and got figures that are made for the previous cake.
The cake turns out with a strong taste of dried apricots. The only flavor is muted honey pastry cream. But very tasty, easy and useful :-) Bon appetit!!!
