Custard cakes with chocolate plum filling
I wanted my kids cakes. Since I now live in the country, and the range is zero, decided to make their ljubimac gingerbread.

Ingredients

  • Honey

    100 g

  • Butter

    30 g

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Brown sugar

    150 g

  • Soda

    0.5 tsp

  • Spices

    0.5 tsp

  • Water

    0.333 cup

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Powdered sugar

    8 Tbsp

  • Pasta chocolate

Cooking

In a saucepan heat the water, dissolve it in sugar and honey, bring to boil, if a foam is to remove it. When the syrup has cooled to 80* add half of the flour. Add melted butter, egg, baking soda and spices ( I used cinnamon). Stir well.

Knead the dough with the remaining flour. The dough will be slightly sticky. On a flour podpylennom table divide the dough into portioned balls. Bun roll out with a rolling pin (thinly roll out is not necessary), in the center put 1 tsp. of plum-chocolate spread (or filling of your choice).

To make dough bag, then well to seal the edges, forming thereby a carrot.

Finished cakes spread on the laid parchment baking sheet at a distance from each other. Bake in a hot oven at 200* 30-40 minutes. When ready to cool and lubricate the glaze. For the glaze you need to mix icing sugar and water (we suggest water to pour by the spoonful, stirring well each time). Enjoy your tea!
